Day 1: Welcome to Bali
Touch down in Bali, ready for the start of your culture school trip to Indonesia! After meeting your Adventure Leaders at the arrivals gate, transfer to the accommodation and settle in, before regrouping for a trip briefing. In this, your Leaders will explain the week’s travel plans, give advice on adjusting to local life, and provide tips on staying safe.
The group meets again for a local welcome dinner this evening, before retiring to the hotel ahead of a busy next day.
Day 2: West Bali
- Visit the Side by Side Organic Farm, to understand how safe, organic food is meant to be produced. Along with discovering the joys of organic farming, the experience also offers opportunities for volunteers to help out too. After learning about the work that Side by Side are doing, enjoy a delicious, healthy meal overlooking the Balinese landscape.
- Explore Bali’s stunning countryside up close, with a trek across verdant rice fields. Along the way, learn more about the area’s local flora and fauna.
