Fantastic Experiences for Students in Europe
Europe is full of incredible experiences, from visiting historical attractions to taking in the beautiful landscapes. We ensure that we offer unique and exciting opportunities for students across all subjects, so take a look at some of our brilliant experiences we offer to those that travel with The Learning Adventure:
Admiring the Mona Lisa in the Louvre
If anything is going to inspire future artists, it will be spending the morning wandering around the Louvre. Not only is it an incredible building architecturally, but it is also home to some of the most famous pieces of art worldwide. An obvious favourite amongst tourists is The Mona Lisa, who sits behind bullet proof glass and always attracts a large audience throughout the day. However, when in Paris we don’t just focus on classical art. After a morning of museums and galleries we take our students to tour the streets in search of exciting and original street art, which fortunately is in abundance in Paris!
Cycling Along the Berlin Wall
Berlin is a must-see for students of every kind, however for History students it will hold a particular fascination. One of the best ways to see the city while witnessing its tragic history is to cycle along the bike path on the Berlin Wall. By cycling this particular path it means the students can take in the many different districts of Berlin and the street art that changes with them. Before this, we visit the famous sites of the city like Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate to ensure the students can really experience the history behind them.
Skiing Down the Sestriere Slopes in Italy
Italy boasts some of the most gorgeous mountainous landscapes, and there is no better way to appreciate them than skiing down the snowy slopes! Our ski trip to Italy is a favourite amongst students because of the breathtaking views and exhilarating challenges. Eating antipasti and relaxing in the sun is the perfect antidote to a day’s hard work on the slopes. We teach all our students throughout the trip to ensure that everyone, no matter their experience, can embrace this wonderful trip!
Learn Spanish in Madrid and Barcelona
When learning a language it is essential to experience the culture and practice amongst the locals. Our language trip to Spain immerses the students in the language and culture and always improves and progresses their skills. Throughout the trip we embark on exciting adventures like visiting a bullring and taking a lesson in Flamenco dancing. Like any country, the culture varies from area to area, so we don’t stay still! We start off the trip in Madrid and finish in Barcelona, so the students can experience the different art and architecture Spain has to offer. Watch a Play in Shakespeare’s Home Town
We can’t forget the UK when considering Europe! Stratford Upon Avon is home to Shakespeare, and subsequently the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. This theatre is a regular stop along the way for famous actors worldwide, from Dame Judi Dench to Sir Ian McKellen. It is truly a privilege to visit this historical theatre and wander around the beautiful riverside town of Stratford Upon Avon. Before the play we also take the students to visit the school Shakespeare attended and his birthplace, where you can stand in the room he grew up in!
