Nepal: A Magical Destination for Students
Nepal is a stunning country, one that boasts beautiful natural landscapes and a rich culture. A trip to Nepal is one that benefits every student, and allows an opportunity to embrace the great outdoors. We want students to experience everything Nepal has to offer and so we have put together multiple different trips to suit all needs. Here are some highlights from our Nepal adventures:
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
The capital city of Nepal is like no other. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world, making it a truly fascinating and magical visit. After soaking up the ancient atmosphere, there are plenty of sights to see from visiting the holy monkeys at Swayambhunath Stupa Temple and observing evening Prayers at Pashupatinth Temple to souvenir shopping in the bustling Thamal District.
Watch the Sunrise over Poon Hill
Poon Hill offers a welcome break from trekking and boasts spectacular views overlooking the Annapurna Massif range and Dhaulagiri mountain range . It is the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the sublime scenery and take in the wonder that Nepal has to offer.
Whitewater Rafting
Led by our internationally qualified instructors, the students get to enjoy a full day of whitewater rafting. This fun and exhilarating sport is the best way for the students to let their hair down while enjoying and embracing the outdoors! Throughout the activity the students can take in the breathtaking views as they float down the river, and look forward to a traditional nepalese dinner as a reward for their hard work!
Help Out on an Organic Farm
We offer students an incredible opportunity to spend time on Her Farm, an empowering non-profit women-operated farm. Find out the hard work that goes into running a farm and the important purpose Her Farm serves in Nepal. It is an incredible organisation that offers a safe home for women escaping oppression, offering them an opportunity to work and live in a women-only community.
