Planning a school trip abroad can be a daunting thought and packing for it can be just as nerve-racking while ensure you don’t forget anything. At the Learning Adventure, we’re here to help you every step of the way. In addition to the packing lists we send to teachers and students going on each of our educational tours, here is a list of a few recommended items that are frequently forgotten:
- A copy of all students’ travel documents, such as passports, visas, ID cards, etc. and their medical information. If a student is taking medication, double check that they have enough of the medication with them, just in case!
- Toilet paper/tissue paper as some countries don’t provide this necessity in public restrooms. Hand sanitizer and baby wipes are also handy too!
- Sun cream for sunny days.
- Snacks in case you’re a picky eater or take a little longer adjusting to foreign cuisines.
- A small padlock. Although we’ve never had a participant experience a theft, it’s better to be safe than sorry. They also make great makeshift zipper handles and bag ties while you’re on the go!
