Introducing… Urban Expeditions!
Our Adventure Leader Paul just finished an exciting trip with a school, where they took part in an urban expedition in Macau. Macau is an incredible place, filled with many different people living very diverse lives.
A Learning Adventure urban expedition involves breaking students down into small crews. From there, they navigate their way through the city with a map and compass, making their own routes, finding their own meals, and interacting with the environment and its people as they complete various challenges. Whilst Macau is the opposite of a wilderness, an urban expedition provides similar opportunities for learning and personal development that an expedition through nature can. The built environment also brings unique challenges!
