From April 1st 2023 to December 31st 2024, visitors from the United Arab Emirates are not required to apply for a K-ETA (online visa) in order to visit South Korea. Visa-free travel to South Korea means that there has never been a better, more hassle-free opportunity to explore this amazing country on an educational tour.

The diversity of experiences offered in South Korea is unparalleled. It’s a country filled with delicious food options that cater to a variety of palates and preferences (including halal and vegetarian friendly options), and holds a rich culture that warmly embraces its past rooted in tradition, while also looking to the future. Korea continues to grow today as a global leader with its K-pop, K-drama and contemporary media – making it an exciting destination for culturally-attuned students. Korea is an excellent destination for some fantastic activities like martial arts, skiing, and trail-hiking, while also supporting academic endeavours with learning opportunities on business, science, and technology from some of the leading corporations in the world.

Could it be possible to have a fantastic trip that covers adventure and academia, while also being travel-friendly? That is possible – and it’s what makes South Korea a unique destination for an educational tour. And while visa-free travel to South Korea is possible, there’s never been a better time to go.

South Korea is a fantastic destination. It’s a well-connected country – there’s a well-oiled network of bullet trains, highways, and short flights that ensure you can move around and see all the sights with ease. It experiences all four seasons – a cherry-blossom filled spring, a hot summer, a golden autumn, and a snowy winter – and you can do everything from sunbathe to ski. You can explore bustling night-markets, wander sprawling museums, and be amazed at acrobatics shows.

From theme parks to cooking classes, nature hikes to business visits, South Korea provides the perfect opportunity for a well-rounded educational tour to Asia that’s as fun as it is informative. Visa-free travel to South Korea means your school trip is easier to organise than ever, and if you’re looking to visit from the Middle East, Seoul’s Incheon Airport is served by Emirates, Etihad, Qatar Airways, and Korean Air.
