Day 1: Longji Rice Terraces
Morning
Step off the plane at Guilin airport and hop on a 2-hour coach transfer to Longsheng County, a great base to learn about Chinese agriculture.
Afternoon
Marvel at the scenic Longji rice terraces at Ping’an village.
Evening
Spend the night in a cozy accommodation built amongst the terraces.
Day 2: Hike to Meet Minority Tribes
Morning
Hike through rice paddies and meet minority tribes. Challenge yourself to reach viewing points, like “7 stars and 1 moon” and “9 dragons and 5 tigers” for the most Instagrammable snaps.
Afternoon
Rest up on your 3-hour transfer to Yangshuo.
Evening
Once you arrive, spend the rest of your day making dinner at an authentic Chinese cooking class.
