Once you’re settled into your accommodation, get introduced to Amsterdam with a canal tour. Hop off the boat regularly to see and learn about iconic locations like Dam Square, Vondelpark and the Royal Palace. Finish your tour near your next excursion: the Rijksmuseum, home to Rembrandt’s The Night Watch and 8,000 other works.
Finish your first day at the Van Gogh Museum, which boasts the largest collection of the famous artist’s works. Learn about Van Gogh’s life, his struggles with mental illness and the importance of his art in narrating his story.
Day 2: Play a Match, Watch a Match
Visit Anne Frank’s house. Learn about the Second World War, the persecution of the Jews and the moving story of Anne Frank.
Now it’s time for your first fixture. Every fixture is expertly matched by our sports specialist, who researches your team, your team’s past matches and prospective opposition teams.
Reward yourself with a trip to the Ajax Stadium, the biggest in Amsterdam, to watch a football match.
Day 3: Rotterdam
Transfer to Rotterdam on a short coach or train journey. Discover the second-largest Dutch city with a city tour. Explore Market Hall, decorated with artwork by Arno Coenen. Then take the waterbus to Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage village nearby known for its 18th century windmills.
Play in your next fixture this afternoon.
Visit the Feyenoord Stadium for behind-the-scenes access. Walk down the players’ tunnel and emerge on the pitch, and sit on the head coach’s seat.
Day 4: The Hague
Transfer to Den Haag (The Hague) and kick things off with a city tour. Learn about the UN at the Peace Palace, home to the International Court of Justice, visit the Binnenhof and enjoy the Scheveningen Pier.
You’ve developed your skills over the past few days – so push yourself as you compete in the final fixture of your sports tour.
