Day 1: Explore Rome

Morning/Afternoon

Step off the plane and take a private coach to your accommodation. Check into the hotel and make your way out to explore all of Rome’s must-sees. Marvel at the historic Trevi fountain, the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps.

Evening

Feast on a welcome dinner and come together for a trip briefing to get you prepped for the week’s adventures.

Day 2: Colosseum

Morning

Explore the Campo di Fiori or Porta Portese flea markets, where you’ll experience Italian culture, compare prices and learn more about the history of this important trading area.

Afternoon

After lunch, get glam as you visit the Fendi offices in Mussolini’s Square Colosseum, also known as the ‘Italian Civilisation’ building. Take a guided visit to the magnificent Colosseum and Roman Forum, too.

Evening

Enjoy some traditional Italian grub. Walk it off down the Via del Circo Massimo and admire the beautiful views of the Palatine Hill. Make sure you stop off at the Garden of Oranges for superb views of the Vatican.

Day 3: School Visit and Business Lecture

Morning

Visit a Roman school that has been specially matched to meet your educational interests. Walk in the shoes of an Italian student for the day, taking a school tour, joining lessons, playing sports and participating in activities.

Afternoon

Listen up at a business lecture by a street art publishing company. Have some questions ready for the Q&A session at the end.

Evening

Finish up your day with dinner at a local Italian restaurant.

Day 4: Panoramic Views of Bologna

Morning/Afternoon

Wave a sad goodbye to Rome and a happy hello to Bologna. Once you’re off the traincheck in, then take a walking tour of the city. Indulge on tasters of mortadella and coffee in the university district. Next, climb up the Asinelli Tower for mesmerising panoramic views – pick out parts of the city you’ve already seen and try work out where you’re going next!

Evening

You can’t argue with us on this one – Bologna makes the best Bolognese! We recommend a classic ragù Bolognese.

Day 5: Eataly Farm Workshop and Bologna Trade Exhibition

Morning

Visit the Eataly farm to learn about its history, supply chain and products. Get hands-on in a workshop where you’ll make and eat some delicious food.

Afternoon

Explore the business district of Bologna and see what’s on at the Fiera di Bologna, a major trade exhibition space.

Evening

If it’s wintertime, try tortelloni in brodo for dinner.

Day 6: Ferrari Workshop and Museum

Morning

Get involved in a workshop with the team at Ferrari on technical, marketing and team building aspects of the business. Be amazed on a tour of the museum’s cars and Formula 1 racetrack.

Afternoon

Bologna – you’ve been beautiful! Time to take the train back to Rome.

Evening

Finish off your trip with some traditional Italian-style gelato.

Day 7: Italy

It’s home time…but it’s not over. Italy’s business world will follow you back to the classroom…and beyond!
