UK Geography School Trips

Our Geography school trips in the UK are carefully put together by educational experts to create enriching and inspiring adventures. Our trips are packed with learning experiences: Q&A’s with geography specialists, case studies, hands-on workshops and expert guided tours.

From human geography to physical landscapes, geography school trips enable students to bring the subjects studied in the classroom to life. We have a whole range of relevant activities all over the UK. These include studying the impact of sustainable practices at a pig farm in Somerset, meeting a travel-sustainability start-up and getting up close to London’s urban regeneration strategy with the 2012 Olympics. Our knowledgeable pre-trip team will can adapt your geography school trip to your students’ age, level, curriculum and learning outcomes.

Arrive in Bath. Head to Cheddar Gorge and explore your surroundings with your guide, from the awe-inspiring cliffs to the subterranean caves. Take a guided tour of Gough’s Cave, and consider the effect of water on the landscape by learning about the formation of the site and its calcite structures.

Day 2

Spend the day on a working farm in Somerset. Discover how the farm is run and how the owners are breathing new life into old practices, keeping a close eye on the issue of sustainability. Engage in a workshop on soil fertility, where you’ll be digging soil pits, collecting data and analysing the results.
