Day 2: Film tour, movie workshop & Museum of Broadway

  • This morning, students will take a thrilling film tour through Manhattan, guided by an expert who will reveal where iconic scenes from classic movies and modern blockbusters were shot. They will get to discover the real-life locations behind their favorite movies while learning fun facts and hidden details that bring these films to life!
  • It’s time to step behind the camera during a “Make a Movie Workshop” where students will practice how to professionally handle camera equipment, learn editing software and experience directing, producing, and shooting actual scenes in a studio and on the streets of New York!
  • Next up is the Museum of Broadway, which takes students through the history of New York’s iconic theater district with interactive exhibits on legendary shows like Hamilton, Wicked, and The Phantom of the Opera. Students will get the chance to explore costumes, props, and behind-the-scenes magic while learning about Broadway’s impact on culture.
