Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Singapore

Arrive at the airport, where our enthusiastic Adventure Leaders will be waiting for you at the arrivals gate, waving our Learning Adventure flag.
Transfer to your accommodation and once you are refreshed and settled, come together for a trip briefing. Your adventure leaders will explain details about your travel plans, give advice on how to adapt to the local culture and outline how you will stay safe during your travels.
Explore the amazing forest valley and collection of art and nature exhibits at Changi Airport. There is a reason it is regarded as one of the world’s most spectacular airports!

Day 2: Singapore Science Art Science Museum and City Tour

Enjoy a half day city tour visiting Singapore’s most iconic sites, including Kampong Glam, China Town, Little India and the Raffles Hotel. You’ll experience the melting pot of cultures in SIngapore as you board the bus with our local guide as part of your own private tour.
Visit the Singapore Art Science Museum and partipate in hands on workshops to learn more about cutting edge science and technology.
Enjoy panoramic views from the Marina Bay Sands Skypark Observation Deck, perched atop one of the most iconic buildings in both Singapore and the world.

Day 3: Discover Singapore’s Urban Development

Visit the Urban Redevelopment Authority Centre. Explore the gallery to discover Singapore’s development journey which showcases Singapore’s dramatic transformation over the past 50 years, to become one of the most liveable cities in Asia.
Explore the stunning Gardens by the Bay, a place where technology and nature meet. Step into enormous glass domes and smell the aroma of the flower field beneath you. Then, peer up at the Cloud Forest’s 35 metre high indoor waterfall, the highest in the world.
Watch a light show from Marina Bay Sands. This nightly show combines dazzling lights, music and projections to create a mesmerizing display.

Day 4: Explore robotics and urban farming

Enjoy a hands on robotics workshop using the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Robotics Kit. Learn about basic gearing concepts and how gear ratios can affect the speed and power of a robot. Through this, develop an understanding of the Engineering Design Process and experiment with robot builds. At the end of the workshop battle it out in a competition to see whose robot will emerge as the ultimate Sumobot Champion!
Discover the wonders of urban farming at Kok Fah Technical Farm, a hidden gem nestled in Singapore’s countryside. Explore the farm’s lush greenery and learn about sustainable farming practices, innovative techniques and the cultivation of fresh produce.
Head to Arab Street and Kampong Glam to learn more about Malay culture. Move on to the vibrant Bugis area to see the landmark Si Ma Lu Temple, then enjoy some free time exploring the areas around Bugis Junction and Bugis Street. Grab some food at the local market stalls.

Day 5: Singapore’s Cutting Edge Science

Explore the Singapore Science Centre to get involved in a personalised selection of demonstrations, lectures and workshops. These hands-on experiences will help students to gain a deeper knowledge of how science and technolohu impact and improve daily life.
Explore the Singapore Discovery Centre, an ‘edutainment’ and tourist attraction by the Ministry of Defence of Singapore. The centre includes exhibits which display the history of SIngapore as well as insight into its future.
Embark on a journey of discovery in China Town. Enjoy dinner on “food street” before weaving through historic alleys and streets, stopping in temples and shops with unique histories.

Day 6: Science and sustainability

Visit the NEWater Visitor Centre which is part of Singapore’s National Water Agency. This educational hub promotes water sustainability in Singapore and is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the membrane and ultraviolet technologies used to make the local water so clean. This is a great opportunity for students with an interest in geography, technology and sustainability.
Learn the science before terrariums, and how plants are able to survive in an enclosed environment.

Day 7: Return home

Sadly, today it’s time to head back to the airport for your flight home.
