Day 1: Port Elizabeth

Morning/Afternoon

Land at Port Elizabeth airport and transfer to your accommodation in the city. Begin your journey into South Africa by exploring the “Windy City” by foot. Learn about urban regeneration projects, historic buildings and wander through souvenir shops.

Day 2: Kariega Game Reserve

Morning/Afternoon

Discover South Africa’s incredible wildlife as you embark on a game drive through the Kariega Game Reserve. This reserve offers a chance to view the Big 5 – the lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard – as well as many other animals, so make sure you bring binoculars!

Day 3: Beach Day

Morning

Port Elizabeth is a popular holiday destination because of its beaches. Take advantage of the region’s sub-tropical climate and year-round pleasant weather as you lounge on any of the city-side beaches.

Afternoon

After a relaxing morning, get ready for the first fixture of your trip. Every fixture is expertly matched by our sports specialist, who researches your team, your team’s past matches and prospective opposition teams.

Day 4: Knsyna

Morning/Afternoon

Follow the Garden Route to Knysna. On the way, stop off at the Bloukrans Bungy, the highest bungee from a bridge in the world. Alternative detours include a visit to a free-flight bird sanctuary and free-roaming monkey sanctuary.

Elephant sanctuary

Arrive at Knysna and check into your accommodation.

Day 5: Elephant Park

Morning

Visit the Knsyna Elephant Park to learn about why conservation of these vulnerable animals is so important.

Afternoon

Compete in your second fixture.

Day 6: Cango Caves

Morning

Transfer to Oudtshoorn. First up, head to the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Here, marvel at cheetahs, lemurs and wallabies. Visit the ranch’s website to see their “wishlist”: a list of items they need to take care of the animals but that they can’t get hold of in South Africa.

Afternoon

After lunch, travel back in time at the Cango Caves. Learn about cave paintings and artifacts from prehistory, and wonder at the 4,500-million-year-old stalactites and stalagmites.

Day 7: Stellenbosch

Morning

Take the coach to Stellenbosch.

Afternoon

Day 10: Cape Peninsula

Day 11: Robben Island
