Olympia London, Hammersmith Road, London W14 8UX

When is it?

Friday 15th – Sunday 17th November 2019

Who’s at it?

There will be so many inspiring educational companies, organisations and institutions, all dedicated to spreading and improving language learning. Here’s the full list. It includes foreign embassies, universities and companies that provide language learning resources.

The Language Show Highlights

What’s on?

Every day of the show is packed with free talks, taster sessions and performances. There are talks every day, geared towards giving you ideas and techniques for the classroom, as well as broadening your own language learning horizons. On Friday, you can hear about sociolinguistics, indigenous languages and the Korean alphabet. On Saturday, discover new language learning strategies for KS2 to KS4 students and on Sunday, hear Rosa Wang speak about why learning Mandarin is easier than you may initially think. Every day, you can attend a range of half-hour taster sessions for languages you may not have tried before, like Turkish, Arabic and Russian.

What will The Learning Adventure be doing there?

We will be exhibiting at Booth C06, speaking to language teachers about how our bespoke educational trips can fast-track their students’ learning. We’ll tell you about how taking French slang lessons in Paris and visiting a school in China can inspire your students to develop their reading, writing and speaking skills. We provide educational programmes that are curated to improve students’ French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Discover why learning a language abroad allows students to learn quickly.

Where do I sign up?

The Language Show is completely free and you can book your place here.
